Blockchain
Blockchain is a secure decentralized digital ledger system used to store transaction records. Blockchain introduced Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) using cryptographic signatures and decentralization to make transactions secure and transparent. Blockchain uses an immutable structure that stores information in blocks accessible through a network connected by peer-to-peer (P2P) nodes known as chains.
